Branding and Interior concept for a Japanese Burger Bar in Amsterdam, Holland.

In collaboration with Studio Konigshausen, Mr. Miyagi serves Fusion-Japanese influenced burgers with the finest ingredients. Clean, contemporary and with a touch of masculinity, the burger-bar concept is inspired by the 80’s film franchise ‘The Karate Kid’; bringing wisdom to the wise, discipline to the rebels and to mentor the hungry kid in you.

This interesting mix inspired to create a design based on a concept that stands for seamlessly blending and creating a polymorphous environment. Seamless, white and arched elements are carried throughout the space characterising traditional Japanese architecture. Lighting features are used to make the distinction between day and night. Materials, colours and shapes of different characters are combined as if they were meant to be one.
